Description: Our client is seeking a Web Developer. The candidate will work together with other technologists and business to develop Web based GUI applications to support the organization's trading platform. The Web solutions will be used by both internal and external clients. This is an entrepreneurial environment that rewards creativity and initiative. Occasional long hours and/or weekend hours required.
Skills/Requirements:
4+ Years of Web Development experience (JavaScript, Ajax, DHTML, JSP, Servlets)
3+ Years of solid core JAVA experience
Sound understanding of object-oriented design patterns
Experience with database involving query optimization is desirable
Experience in dealing with highly distributed systems involving JMS is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and problem resolution skills
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ability to deal with changing priorities
