Tools for High Performance Web Sites

Skills/Requirements: 
At least 5 years of fulltime large scale web application development experience
Strong object oriented development and design skills
Solid skill of JavaScript/AJAX/PHP required
Database experience (MySQL preferred)
Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, Apache)
Strong code optimization techniques and experiences with performance toning
Good web security knowledge (Cross Site Scripting, SQL Injection, Input Validation)
UNIX development and version control software experience (SVN, CVS)
Strong command of web standards
Excellent inter-personal skills and team work
Experience with data mining and analysis is desirable
Experience developing any performance tools a plus
Demonstrated ability to deliver complex systems against a deadline
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Functions/Responsibilites: 
Primary developer for next generation of YSlow
Part of engineering team developing mission critical monitoring tool used on Yahoo! properties world-wide
Part of engineering team developing mission critical monitoring tool used on Yahoo! properties world-wide
Performing research in Web Performance related fields
Optional evangelism opportunity includes teaching internal performance classes, blogging, presenting in conferences
Innovation of new performance tools/features
