The Mail QA team is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Senior QA Engineer with strong technical background, experience in Black-box testing and Front-End test automation for complex commercial Enterprise Web-applications. The person will work closely with software developers to understand product specifications and work on identifying, designing and enhancing test plans and test cases to support releases. The person will also define a test strategy, review product specifications, develop front-end test frameworks, automation plans, and participate in evaluating appropriate test tools which are used in delivering a high quality product. A successful candidate will have a strong background in web technologies, test cases development, independent troubleshooting skills, developing front-end automated test suites and integration with test case management and bug reporting system, evaluating and debugging test results. Clear and effective communication is also a key requirement for the candidate.

Skills/Requirements: 
Solid 5+ years of background in QA testing of highly scalable web applications, with multiple Web configurations, Web browsers, and Windows platforms.
Strong knowledge on QA processes and methodology, with ability to create excellent test plans and test cases. Execute test cases and perform root cause analysis to identify problems in design and/or implementation.
Deep understanding of web technologies on both server side and client side, strong knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
Solid 5 years of outstanding proven record with hands-on developing web-based test automation framework from using tools e.g. Selenium/Java (preferred), Watir, SilkTest, TestComplete, WinRunner etc., and its integration with version control, test case management, bug tracking tool and code coverage.
Strong knowledge of Perl, XML, Unix/Linux and backend testing
Developing Perl scripts, test scripts and shell scripting
React well and quickly to frequent project demands and requirement changes, be flexible to juggle among multiple projects and requests and ability to stretch for additional work hours as needed.
Self-starter, team player and independent, with strong technical and personal leadership skills.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Strong written and communication skills enjoy working in multiple team environments.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Understanding of Web Servers and/or Application Servers, SMTP, POP3, IMAP.
Deep understanding of web technologies with experience in HTML, XML, AJAX, DHTML, JavaScript, SQL and Windows/Linux.
Experience with Selenium Front-end Automation tool and Java/JUnit.
Experience with RDBMS, Perl, Python, Ruby is a plus.
Experience working with remote development and QA teams.
Any QA tools development using code coverage, web performance/load testing/measurement, systems integration.
