Responsibilites:
This is a hands on position the person is expected to take owner ship of assigned components, lead a small set of developers, also code and contribute to the development of our Analytics initiative. We are not looking for project managers but some one who has extensive design and development experience. We are looking for some one with experience in software development, including end-to-end software design, development and delivery process.
Skills/Requirements:
Should have proven skills in Core Java and Oracle backend.
Should be comfortable with development frameworks like IBatis, Spring, Spring Batch or should be able to pickup these frameworks in relative short time.
Past experience with O/R tools like Hibernate, Struts is desirable. Ideal candidate should have developed WebServices using REST protocol.
Candidate should have a fair amount of experience working with one of JBoss, WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache, Tomcat web servers.
Should have worked on some virtualization technologies and must have good background with development of large scale systems.
Should be comfortable developing stored procedures and databases scripts using PL/SQL.
Should have a fair understanding for query optimization, SQL tuning.
Should be comfortable with Java profiling tools, build tools, and Java performance monitoring tools,
Should be comfortable with Linux environment and be able to do simple performance measures on the same.
JavaScript, HTML, PHP, Flex, Should be comfortable with WebApp development.
