This position is for an experienced Mobile Frontend engineer with a history of developing best of breed UI application development frameworks.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team creating the next generation of JavaScript/CSS/HTML5 application development frameworks for all the latest mobile device platforms; including the iPhone, iPad and Android.
You will be working closely with other engineers on the Mobile Frontend platforms team to design and develop a framework and set of libraries for use by other developers to build complex interactive sites and applications for the next generation of powerful handheld devices.

Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 6+ years experience.
Expert level XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS experience.
Expert level understanding of XML, JSON and Web Services.
Strong understanding of the advent of HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience developing for Webkit and/or WebOS preferred.
Exceptional understanding of web standards, performance standards, accessibility and web development best practices.
Expert level experience with an object oriented programming language (PHP5 preferred).
Expert level Unix experience.
Experience in mobile-specific web development preferred.
An understanding of mobile device and mobile network limitations.
Understanding of mobile specific applications, such as location-based services and geo-tagging.
Experience designing software application frameworks from the ground up.
Ability to tackle challenging problems on a tight schedule.
Experience developing performance driven web applications and knowledge of standard networking protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.).
