Yahoo! Groups is looking for a highly talented senior application engineer to join our world-class engineering team. You will be responsible for working on our existing system, as well as helping us build the next generation user experience for the largest community site in Yahoo!.

Skills/Requirements:
Solid Experience with Java.
Solid Experience with C/C++.
Expertise with Hibernate. Working knowledge of Java Spring IOC and MVC. Workding knowledge of Jboss is a plus. Working knowledge of JMS.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to make engineering assessment to fill in the gaps. Strong teamwork skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). 5+ years minimum experience building web applications.
Prior Experieince with Python/Shell scripting
Working experience with Maven.
Experience with XML.
Experience with large scale serving system like the web.
Experience in the area of performance analysis and tuning.
Experience with full life cycle (design, implementation, testing, releasing and sustaining) of a large project.
Solid object-oriented design / programming experience.
A Computer Science degree and/or related work experience required.
