The FlexForce team at Yahoo is dedicated to providing highly skilled, senior engineers to a variety of projects. The intent of the team is to provide agility to the senior engineering management team. Tigers perform as an internal ''consulting'' team, providing short to medium term resourcing to dedicated product engineering teams that have critical or time sensitive problems. In the past Tigers have contributed to highly visible products such as Y! Mail and anti-spam, Y! Messenger, Y!Photos, Overture, Y!Search and others.
The ideal candidate is a technically strong engineer who likes a dynamic environment and assignments that change every 6-8 months. As a member of the team you will get wide exposure to a variety of Yahoo's products. Due to the rapidly changing team environment, strong communications and teamwork skills are a must.

Skills/Requirements:
Experience in Web UI automated testing
Good Understanding of HTML, HTTP/S, AJAX technologies.
Experience with Windows, UNIX & XML.
Experience with Web UI automation tools such as Selenium and TestNg
Strong Object Oriented Programming Skills such as Java, C++
Strong Knowledge in at least one scripting language such as Perl
Strong understanding of Relational Databases – MYSQL Preferred.
Solid & effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong understanding of Web Services methodologies like JSON, SOAP and REST.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
BS or MS with a Minimum 5+ years of QA experience in black box testing
Functions/Responsibilites:
Define test strategy, execute test plans, review tests & product specifications
Work closely with Development, Program Management, and Operations team to test and roll out the releases.
Participate in regular bug triage and gather quality metrics.
Develop new Web UI automated test suites, and evaluate code coverage providing high-quality feedback on the state of the product.
Create automation test suites using Selenium/SelNg/TestNg
Ability to test Global software and support internationalization and localization test efforts.
