We're looking for an experienced web software engineer with a broad set of skills to help us build out our web and mobile offerings. You should be well versed in internationalization and localization techniques, cross browser compatibility issues, tableless HTML/CSS based layouts and DHTML. Skills/Requirements:
BS/MS in computer science or similar with 5-7+ years of web based software development experience
Fluency in a C-style language (Java, C/C++, C#) is a must
Expert level knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and CSS
Working knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies: AJAX, JSON, XMLHttpRequest, DOM, etc.
Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques, and object-oriented programming
Solid understanding of internationalization concepts (Unicode, encoding conversion, etc)
Solid understanding of localization concepts
Strong debugging skills and the ability to optimize code for speed
Excellent problem-solving skills
Familiarity with current software development best practices, including iterative development and unit testing
Previous experience building mobile web sites
Previous experience building native mobile apps (either iPhone or Android)
Previous experience configuring web servers
Experience in PHP
