The Mail QA team is looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong technical background, experience in Black-box testing and Front-End test automation. The person will work closely with software developers to understand product specifications and work on identifying, designing and enhancing test plans and test cases to support releases. A successful candidate will have a strong background in web technologies, test cases development, independent troubleshooting skills, developing front-end automated test suites, evaluating and debugging test results. Clear and effective communication is also a key requirement for the candidate.

Skills/Requirements: 
3+ years of background in testing of web applications in multiple browsers and OS.
Strong knowledge on QA processes and methodology, with ability to create test plans and test cases. Execute test cases and perform root cause analysis to identify problems in design and/or implementation.
Understanding of web technologies on both server side and client side, knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
Proven record with using tools e.g. Selenium/Java (preferred), Watir, SilkTest, TestComplete, WinRunner etc.
Be flexible to juggle among multiple projects and requests and ability to stretch for additional work hours as needed.
Self-starter, team player and independent, with strong technical and personal leadership skills.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Strong written and communication skills.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Understanding of Web Servers , SMTP, POP3, IMAP.
Understanding of XML, AJAX, DHTML, SQL and Windows/Linux.
Experience with Selenium Front-end Automation tool and Java/JUnit.
Experience with RDBMS, Perl, Ruby, Python, is a plus.
Experience working with remote development and QA teams.
Any other tools like code coverage, web performance/load testing
