We're looking for a seasoned Senior Developer to join our team in building the next generation of our web applications. Successful candidates will love to code on the cutting edge of technologies and be award winning problem solvers.

Our company delivers high quality editorial content to a rapidly growing subscriber base across the country, gaining ever-growing accolades from the web community in the process-including multiple Webbies and Mobies.

We have a strong practice of leveraging technology to produce scalable and dynamic solutions to content distribution. Specifically, successful candidates can expect to work with HTML5, PHP5, the Symfony framework, in-house-developed RESTful APIs, front end technologies such as javascript and ajax, flash and video content, content and customer relation management systems, MTAs, business intelligence analytics and data warehouse architecture. They will also work with social media platforms such as twitter and facebook.

Skills/Requirements: 
Deep LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) environment experience
Minimum 4 years of strong Object Oriented design and programming experience
Experience with implementing scalable and maintainable code
Experience working with MVC frameworks, Symfony is a strong plus
Experience with and ability to thrive in a team environment
Functions/Responsibilites: 
Application layer maintenance, improvements and developments
Working with user account functionalities and content distribution channels.
Developing and integrating agency-quality micro-sites and online products
Implementing scalable technologies to support rapidly growing traffic and user account features
Integration of various third party platforms into daily operations (eg Email Vendors, Advertising Platforms, Analytics, independently developed applications, and others)
Potential for self management of projects and team members/contract developers
Contributions to and development of internal best practices and standards
Light maintenance and support of front end technologies
