Join a talented team of Perl Developers working on a database-driven Web application. Perl is the main language but deep understanding of database-driven Web application development in any modern language is fine for the role. This person will utilize a strong background in .NET, Java, Python, or Ruby which is fine for an enthusiastic and energetic Software Engineer. You will be working in a variety of projects including maintaining and extending existing applications, creating new applications, and contributing to our code library.
Skills/Requirements:
2-5 years of Web Application development experience; preferably using Perl and Templating Systems
2-5 years of SQL experience
Experience with Apache / Linux
Understanding of source control systems
Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced application development environment
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Perl programming or scripting
CGI Application and MVC Framework
HTML Template and Template Toolkit
MS SQL Server and TSQL
