Lead Java Developer with Flex

Citizenship: US Citizen, Green Card or EAD only.
Technical Lead having at least 7+ years work experience in the software industry with minimum 2 years as Technical Lead managing a team of software developers. Hands-on coding experience required in the Java, Flex, C++ and Oracle 10g. Candidate should be proficient in end to end application development. Candidate should have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Responsibilities include design solutions architecture, identify and address technical challenges and guide a team of developers through construction. This role directs projects resources, team building and basic management requiring excellent communications skills.
Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with direct experience of 7+ years with Java, Flex, C++ and Oracle 10g
Strong OO design and development with relationship to UI (User Interface) development
Client Server, database, systems integration and reporting
7+ years Object-Oriented programming languages (Java, C++, Flex, Flex Builder 3, and ActionScript3)
In depth Cairngorm or any Flex architecture experience
Experience with refactoring a Flex/Flash application that has already been built vs. building one
7+ years Client-Side web technologies (JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML)
7+ years Oracle/PLSQL/functions and procedures; experience with large databases (50-100TB)
Knowledge of one of the commonly used applications servers: WebLogic, WebShphere, Tomcat, or JBoss.
Understanding of Web Services and their J2EE implementations, JSP, Servlets, Ant (4+ years of experience).
Understanding of commonly used frameworks such as hibernate and spring
Functions/Responsibilites:
Provide technical leadership on projects from concept to completion
Expert planning and documentation skills are a prerequisite
Lead a team of developers through all phases of project life-cycle
Assists in the Identification of resources and skill sets required
Design and review high level architecture and design of solution components
Collaborate with business analysts to define High Level and Detailed Requirements
Responsible for estimation of work effort for projects
Work with Testing team to ensure low defect applications are deployed in UAT
Work on proof of concept and prototyping activities to assess whether the proposed architecture and components meet the non-functional requirements; reliability, performance, and maintainability
Modify and refine architecture based on findings
Participating in data modeling and Software Design
Participate and contribute in client facing interactions with presentation ideas and solutions
Presentations to senior management regarding project performance will be a regular routine
Perform Database Development tasks along with Application Development
