This position requires a passionate and exceptionally talented Web Developer who is well versed in XHTML, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, CSS, XML, Web 2.0 and PHP. The candidate should have a deep and broad technology background with experience in creating SEO friendly pages, semantically correct markup, Web 2.0 based sites and Ajax based functionality. Additionally, the candidate must be able to quickly learn and implement new technologies as needed. This position will require interacting with clients primarily via phone, email and in-person.
This position will predominantly focus on end-user oriented applications that need to be integrated with back-end technology. The candidate will be part of a broader development team with peers from Visual Design and User Experience therefore attention to detail and working in an agency environment are essential.

Skills/Requirements: 
Strong experience and expert-level skills with XHTML, JavaScript, CSS and XML.
Overall experience developing on the Linux Apache MySQL PHP (LAMP) platform and experience with Open Source software.
Understanding of Web development technologies: Javascript Frameworks, Ajax, DOM Scripting, Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, PHP/Symfony, etc.
Ability to debug existing client side code and PHP as needed and troubleshoot performance issues on the client and server side
Experience in CMS, Social Networking Platforms and eCommerce platforms are a plus
Client facing experience
Organized and detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills
Ability to find efficient and effective solutions to complex problems and to multi-task
Strong sense of ownership of process and results
Effective verbal and written communication skills
College degree in a related field and 3-5 years industry experience as a Web Developer
Functions/Responsibilites: 
Working closely with Design and User Experience team members to define customer requirements and formulate the design
Develop leading solutions for clients through collaborative processes
Creating client side code which includes XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and integrating with RIA objects such as Flash and Silverlight
Contribute to methodology/process and knowledge repository, wikis, blogs, etc. Skills/Qualifications include:
