Modis is currently seeking Flex Developers for several exciting direct hire opportunities in the Chicago area. These are exciting opportunities to work with the latest RIA technology on cutting-edge, consumer-facing systems.
The Flex Developers will be working in a team environment on the full lifecycle development of Flex applications that are high performance, scalable and reusable.

Skills/Requirements:
Minimum Bachelors Degree with 5+ years IT experience is required.
Advanced experience with Java, JavaScript, RIA, Adobe Flex, Adobe Flash, ActionScript and AIR.
Working in Flex with DOJO/JavaScript is a plus.
Working experience with RAD/Websphere is also preferred
Functions/Responsibilites:
Working with Product Management teams to identify, prioritize and document detailed product requirements
Designing, developing and documenting RIA application and framework code using Java, JavaScript, DOJO, JSON, Flex, Flash, ActionScript, AIR, etc.
Creating robust, automated unit and functional tests and application deployment scripts
Working with QA teams on performance and user acceptance testing
Providing seamless integration with Java environments.
