Description: Our client in the Des Moines area has an immediate need for a full-time Java Developer.
Skills/Requirements:
Experience with JAVA programming language.
Understanding of J2EE Standards and Object Oriented programming.
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Understanding of relational databases.
SQL experience.
College Degree - Computer Science or related degree.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to answer user -how to- questions in reference to the application.
Ability to trouble-shoot issues in response to user inquiries, great problem solving skills.
Ability to take a project from specifications to delivery.
WebSphere Application Developer experience
WebSphere Administration experience
XML experience
IBM DB2
Functions/Responsibilites:
Working with customers on how they will incorporate a new Processing System into their environments.
Individual will be the part of the support team for the processing application.
Assist with the deployment and integration of the system within client accounts.
Develop components (using Java) for the Administration system.
Learn the Java development environments used by our company.
Learn the relevant systems and all components.
May co-develop system components with our development partner.
Work on initiatives to support overall company implementations.
Some travel will be involved - 10%
