Afilias, LLC seeks an experienced PHP/Drupal developer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. You will work closely with a team of web developers to maintain and improve a suite of Drupal websites and other web applications. The Web Group is part of the Application Services department, a customer-focused team that serves internal and external customers. The position is based at our Philadelphia area (Horsham, PA) office. You may largely telecommute, but you will be required on-site approximately 20% of the time (one day per week) for meetings and administrivia. This could become permanent for the right candidate.

Skills/Requirements:
Expertise with PHP 5
Experience with any RDBMS system and with LAMP (or LAPP) stack architecture in general
Thorough understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript/AJAX, and how they work together
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Enthusiasm to set and meet goals with a minimum of supervision
Passion for learning
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Expertise with Drupal 6
Expertise with Postgres
Experience writing custom Drupal modules
Experience with Symfony, CakePHP, or other PHP Frameworks
Experience with SVN, git, or other version control system
Design experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or The Gimp
Functions/Responsibilites:
Maintenance of Drupal websites
Design, code, and test technical solutions
Create and document new processes and standards
On-call duties on a rotating bases
